Randy Staub

Randy (John) Staub joined
the Salem Brass in January 2005. He began his musical education in the
fourth grade studying privately until graduating from Vineland High
School. Randy is a 1970 graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan
University) with a degree in music education.
Before graduating from college,
Randy joined the N.J. National Guard, serving for eight years. His
teaching career began at Egg Harbor Township in 1971 and continued as Band
Director in the Paulsboro School District, where he retired after 43 years of teaching music.
Randy has played for
numerous church services and in pit orchestras for high school
musicals. Randy has also performed with the 28th Regimental Band and Beck's Philadelphia Brigade Band. Randy's wife, Patricia, is also a music teacher. When not attending his
children’s seasonal events, Randy can often be seen around horses and
antique automobiles.
